InvergarryScotland > Highland Counties > Inverness-shire > Invergarry A small hamlet lying the heart of some of Scotland's most spectacular scenery. Near to the River Garry, and close to Loch Garry. To the north Loch Oich and its "well of the heads". To the south lies the ruins of Invergarry Castle, for centuries the home of the Macdonnells of Glengarry. "Glengarry" is the name of a Scottish bonnet made popular by Macdonnell of Glengarry during a royal visit to Edinburgh in 1822 ![]() |
