Innellan

Located south west of Dunoon, the village was founded on the wealth of the Greenock merchant princes of the Victorian era, who built themselves elegant summer residences here. The beautiful views looking across Wemyss Bay and up the Clyde remain but the princes have been replaced by decerning retirees and visitors.
On the high ground above the pier stands ruined Knockarmillie Castle abandoned by the Campbells in 1650.
