Glendevon

Scotland > East of Scotland > Perthshire > Glendevon

Glendevon and its subsidiary valleys make for wonderful walking and pony trekking country.
Glendevon village first surfaces historically in 1521. In 1643 John Brughe was tried for witchcraft, when he was accused of "meeting with the devil in Glendevon Kirkyard".
Glendevon Castle is an early 15th century fortified tower.
