Fortingall

Supposedly the birthplace of Pontius Pilate, there is a Roman Camp just to the south of the village which lies in Glen Lyon about 6 miles west of Aberfeldy in Perthshire. Loch Tay is only 1 mile to the south.

There is a huge Yew Tree in the local churchyard.

Access is by unclassified roads either off the B846 Aberfeldy to Tummel Bridge road or off the A827 Aberfeldy to Loch Tayside road at Fearnan.
