Findon (Finnan) is loacted on the North Sea coast and is 8 miles south of Aberdeen and is known as a commuter and fishing village. Dried fish known as Findon or Finnan haddock or the 'Finnan Haddie' is still made here and Findon is thought to have been the first place to prepare such smoked delights.
