Errol is 10 miles East of Perth and 10 Miles west of Dundee. The village still has an unusual winding main street. In the square in the village you can see a fountain and market cross, and you can also see examples of 19th century buildings, built using local bricks.
The Errol Brick Company still works and continues a 200 year tradition of brick making. Errol station which was a working station until 1985, was reopened in 1990 as a visitor centre by the Errol Station Trust.
