YesScotland.com : A view of Edzell Edzell is the modern day name for the town, which is roughly 6 miles North of Brechin, which used to be called Slateford.

There is an arch which welcomes you to the village (known as the Dalhousie Arch) it is there to commemorate the death of the Earl and Countess of Dalhousie.

The Inglis Memorial Hall was built in memory of Colonel Robert Inglis (Head of the London Stock Exchange, 1898) in memory of his parents.
