EddrachillisScotland > Highland Counties > Sutherland > Eddrachillis Eddrachillis overlooks Badcall Bay an inlet of the larger island studded Eddrachillis Bay. The parish includes 35 islands and the large rugged peaks such as Ben Stack and Foinaven. It was once owned by the Earls of Sutherland but ownership changed hands in the 13c to the Morays. Since then the Kinnairs, the Macleods and the Mackays have all owned the land. Finally in 1829 ownership changed back into its original family, the Sutherlands. ![]() |
