Buckie

Scotland > East of Scotland > Banffshire > Buckie

One of the most important fishing ports in the UK. Situated on Spey Bay, 7 miles west of cullen on the A942. As befitting of a major fishing port, Buckie has an excellent harbour and the sounds of work being carried out on trawlers can be heard all over the town.

The fishing heritage of Buckie is explained in the Buckie Drifter vistor attraction.
