Buchlyvie

15 miles west of Stirling on the A811, Buchlyvie has been associated with Rob Roy through a house built in the 17th century called Auchentoig. The old Stirling to Balloch railway used to pass through here but the line ceased in the mid 20th century. The town was also associated with the weaving trade.
