Bridge of Don

Scotland > East of Scotland > Aberdeenshire > Bridge of Don

Unlike Bridge of Dee to the south, this is a community in its own right at the mouth of the River Don 2 miles north of the city centre. The original bridge was built by Telford and Smith between 1827 and 1830. The existing Bridge was opened in 1959.
