Bridge of Dee

Scotland > East of Scotland > Aberdeenshire > Bridge of Dee

Old Aberdeen lies between the Rivers Don to the north and Dee to the south. It is the mouth of the River Dee, however, that flows into Aberdeen harbour. Bridge of Dee is not the name of a community but purely of the site of the original bridge over the River Dee built in the 16th century.

Bridge of Dee lies on the B9077 2 miles south of the City Centre.
