Sauchie

Between Alloa and Tillicoultry lies Sauchie - home to the 15th century Sauchie Tower. This Clackmannanshire village used to be known for its mining and textile trades with the tower being built by the Shaws who had connections with Edward IV of England. Today, Sauchie has the Carsebridge Business Centre which plays an important part in the textile and electronics world.
