Raasay is a beautiful and unspoilt island, 15 miles long by no more than 1 miles in width, just off the north east of Skye. Dominated by the mountains of the Isle of Skye with superb views over the narrows to the Cuillins in the south and Ben Tianavaig to the north. . Forest, hill and woodland walks criss-cross the island and is very popular with mountain bikers. It has an wide variety of wildlife; red deer and otters.
