The small village of Rait is situated deep in the Braes of the Carse at the opening to the Glen of Rait. Consisting of beautifully reed-thatched houses and the old ruins of an abandoned pre-Reformation church, the village of Rait is not without its history. Today, the steading of Rait Farm is a haven for antique dealers.
