5 miles north west of Lochboisdale just west off the A865 towards the Atlantic Ocean. Virtually miles and miles of open sandy beach, a great place to go beachcombing. There is also a 9 hole golf course, quite well known and well kept. Only 5 miles from Lochboisdale ferry!

This is just one "must see" once in your life. The Uists and Benbecula are outstanding so long as you do not expect the fashion-conscious cuisine of the mainland cities. Just remember where you are! Fishing is excellent as is the walking (South Uist is fairly flat). Ideal for cycling holidays.
