A small village on the west coast of Harris placed in a 3 mile stretch of golden sand. The Birthplace of Finlay J. MacDonald who wrote many books documenting his life on the island. Some of which have been dramatised for BBC Alba. Also home to the standing stone of Scarista which can be seen from the road as well as a 9 hole golf course.
