Isle of Sanday

Sanday is positioned in the middle and located north of the islands of Westray, Eday and Stronsay.

Named because of its sandy beaches "sand island". The island has large sand dunes where seals and otters can be found. Inland it is fertile and agricultural with hilly peaty areas.
