Ballachulish

Located on the shores of Loch Leven, with beautiful mountain and sealoch scenery all round. Once famous for suppling the "Ballachulish Slate" that covered many of the rising tenements in Glasgow and beyond from 1761 till 40 years ago. The quarries were worked until quite recently.
