Located in Inverness-shire in the Scottish Highlands, the glen of Strathfarrar spans from Loch Monar to the River Glass in the east and is about 12 miles (20 km) long. Home to four Munro's (mountains bigger than 3,000 ft), Strathfarrar is popular with climbers.
