StaffinScotland > Highland Counties > Isle of Skye > Staffin On the banks of Staffin Bay in the Trotternish peninsula on the Isle of Skye lies the village of Staffin. Home to the Columba 1400 Community and International Leadership Centre. The road south to Portree (17 miles away) leads past the well known Kilt Rock while further south, the waters of Loch Mealt find there way to the sea in a very picturesque waterfall. The road north forks in two taking you either along the coast towards Flodigarry, further to the north, or to the west up to a height of about 900 ft providing great views of the bay or the rocks of Quiraing.
