Isle of Soay

Soay lies to the west of Loch Scavaig on the west coast of the island of Skye, separated by Soay Sound. A sparsely inhabited, the island has an area of approx 2560 acres, rising to 462 feet at Beinn Bhreac. Mol-chlach is the location of the main settlement. The island has been used for commercial shark fishing in the past.
