Rowardennan lies in a lovely setting, on the banks of Loch Lomond, in the heart of the National Park.

A picturesque village on the east side of the Loch. It is as far as you can take a vehicle on this side of the Loch. Lying at the foot of Ben Lomond with spectacular views northwards. It is small compact however it can supply all any visitor would need. Near to the village is the Youth Hostel, once a shooting lodge, now a youth hostel and activity centre.
