The village of Portnahaven sits at the southwestern tip Islay, it is probably the prettiest village on Islay. The harbour is frequently visited by seals and is sheltered by the islands of Orsay and Eilean Mhic to the south and west harbour and in summer is a favourite location for sea kayaking.
