Scotland > East of Scotland > Aberdeenshire > Pitmedden
Pitmedden lies in the Formartine district of Aberdeenshire, on A920, 1mile west of Pitmedden village and 14miles north of Aberdeen. It is most well known for the House of Pitmidden and its great garden. The house was given to the National Trust for Scotland in 1952 and consequently great restorations have been made to the gardens and their pavilions.
