Well known as a holiday resort since the 1860s, Pitlochry is located 28 miles north of Perth and is home to a wide variety of attractions. One of the town's great attractions is the Fish Ladder. Here the enthralling sight of salmon negotiating the specially built ladder letting them bypass Pitlochry Dam into Loch Faskally is a must to see. Stunning views can be seen from various points around the town and the surrounding scenery is breathtaking.
