Peterculter

Scotland > East of Scotland > Aberdeenshire > Peterculter

Developed from a paper mill founded in 1751, Peterculter is now mainly a commuter base for those travelling to Aberdeen to work, 8 miles to the northeast. The statue of Rob Roy above Leuchar Burn appears to have little historical significance but is very life-like. Normandyke, the remains of a Roman marching camp, is located to the southwest.
