Penpont

Scotland > South of Scotland > Dumfriesshire > Penpont

Situated on the line of an ancient Pilgrims' track, Penpont is steeped in history. James IV is said to have passed this way on his way to Whithorn in 1507 and nearby Tynron Doon is thought to have once sheltered Robert Bruce.
