Oxton

Scotland > South of Scotland > Berwickshire > Oxton

Oxton lies four miles north west of Lauder and was a childhood home to St. Cuthbert, for whose honour Channelkirk Church was built. This can be found to the North of the village. It is likely that the Romans passed very close to this area.
