Morar

Morar is almost certainly one of the most beautiful areas in the West Highlands. It has a magnificent blend of mountain, moor, loch and glen, with various and interesting walks. Nearby is Loch Morar, europe's deepest, freshwater loch. The famous "Sands of Morar" beaches are made of weathered quartzite, giving them an almost white appearance. With glorious views out to the Isle of Skye and the isles of Eigg, Muck and Rum.
