YesScotland.com : A view of Lagavullin Distillery Two legal distilleries were set up on the site originally, the first in 1816 was Lagavulin. The second, was believed to have been known as Kildalton. Lagavulin has long been important to White Horse blended whisky. Rebuilt in 1962 when the stills from Malt Mill were incorporated.
