A pleasant village located in East Lothian 4½ miles (7 km) south west of Dunbar. Home to many attractive old stone cottages - hence its name meaning "Stone Town", Stenton has been crowned an area of outstanding conservation. Most of the cottages are presented in the same style with reddish-pink sandstone and orange roofs creating a very picturesque wee town.
