Amongst the Lammermuir Hills in East Lothian lies the small village of Spott. Located about 2 miles (3 km) to the south of Dunbar. A large part of the village has been designated a conservation area due to the many 19th century buildings still remaining. The modern church is home to a well preserved, beautiful 18th century pulpit while close by at Spott Loan lies the Witch's Stone - which recalls the last witch to be burnt south of the Forth.
