Supposedly the birthplace of Pontius Pilate, there is a Roman Camp just to the south of the village which lies in Glen Lyon about 6 miles west of Aberfeldy in Perthshire. Loch Tay is only 1 mile to the south. There is a huge Yew Tree in the local churchyard.
