Formerly known as Auchinleck Castle, its ruins can be found just off the B978 5 miles north of Broughty Ferry in Angus. The existing remains can be dated back to the 15th century during the times of the Lindsays but there probably were other fortifications on this site for many centuries prior to the 15th century.
