In the Black Isle of Ross and Cromarty north of Inverness over the Kessock Bridge. Used to be a very popular holiday village but now tends to be popular with people who work in Inverness. Quite a number of holiday houses/second home though. Very pleasant village on the Inverness Firth separated from Rosemarkie by a peninsula stretching out into the First towards Fort George on the other side. This peninsula is a very respectable 18 hole golf course, which can be quite tricky in the usual cross wind.
