Refurbished to a very high standard and with your comfort in mind for a pleasant stay in relaxing surroundings. Gifford House is an attractive stone Victorian Terrace House conveniently located just over a mile south of Princes Street on the main A7. Lying only four miles from Sherriff Hall Junction of Edinburgh. There is ample off street parking. Although lying on a main bus route, the area behind Gifford House is quiet and peaceful, and the rear bedrooms enjoy superb panoramic views towards Salisburys Crags and the extinct volcano of Arthur's Seat. With its warm and friendly atmosphere, Gifford House is a place where guests return year after year. A full Scottish breakfast is served with a large selection of dishes including smoked fish, mackerel and kippers. Special diets are also catered for if required. Please state your approximate time of arrival so as we know when to expect you as we work round our guest’s arrival. When booking double/twin room please advise which is preferred A Minimum stay of 2 nights in July. A Minimum stay of 3 nights in August. A minimum stay of 3 nights Bank holiday weekends.
