Comfortable bed and breakfast hotel close to (15 mins walk) from Edinburgh City Centre. Great location in more residential part of town with friendly service, comfortable rooms and a good breakfast. Located close in the heart of Edinburgh, this friendly, independent two star hotel has 45 bedrooms all with small en-suite shower rooms. on the ground floor we have a breakfast room, cosy lounge and modern seating area where tea and coffee can be served and where guests have access to the Internet. With just 15 minutes walk from Edinburgh Castle, Princes Street, Kings Theatre and only two minutes walk away from the Edinburgh International Convention Centre (EICC) and Haymarket station, the Herald House offers good value and quality service. Please note that unfortunately we do not have our own car park but can direct you to one short a short walk from the hotel. Parking in Grove Street is possible but only between 6pm and 8am. There are 45 bedrooms, all with small showers and WC en suite. Rooms are equipped with direct dial telephones, television, hospitality tray, trouser press and hairdryer. The hotel is completely non smoking both in the public areas and the bedrooms. An elevator serves the three upper floors.
